How you can present at SMASH:
We offer the opportunity to present your work by submitting an abstract for:
Submitted talks (DEADLINE for 2017 now passed) - These are 25 minute presentations, selected by the session chairs.
Scientific Posters and Upgraded talks - In addition to submitting your poster abstracts (assessed by our Poster Committee) you can request that your abstract be considered for upgrade to a 15 minute talk (upgrades are chosen by the session chairs).
The deadline and decision dates for both of these abstracts processes can be found on the "Important Dates" list (see to the right).
Important Information regarding abstracts
All abstracts must be submitted using the online forms. Use the links above to submit a new abstract. You can make your life easier if you use an off-line program, such as Word, to edit your title, authors, affiliations, and abstract then cut and paste each one into the on-line form as text. Do not use HTML formatting. Please use the format shown below, making sure that the presenter is the first author listed. You can also download a Word template by clicking here. Please note that when your abstract appears on the web some of the formatting and special characters to do not appear but are still in the document.
